About the Course

The V Latin American Course on Lysosomal Storage Diseases is an educational initiative aimed to provide, to Latin American MDs interested in the field, an overview and an update on clinical features, laboratory diagnosis and management of this group of diseases.
As in the previous four editions, the program includes state of the art topics, addressed by top level specialists from Latin America, North America and Europe.
This intensive course will run along one week (Oct 30 - Nov 4, 2016), and will have lectures, interactive sessions, case presentations, and a social program designed to promote interaction and stimulate partnership.
The venue in a hotel in the city of Cartagena de Indias (Colombia) was chosen to proportionate a convenient location in a nice setting, along an appropriate atmosphere for teaching and learning in a relative isolation.
This course is supported by an unrestricted educational grant from Shire. The attendance is by invitation only. If you are interested, please contact us or contact the Shire representative in your country.
